Tara Schutz works with a select clientele of affluent families and individuals, many of whom own and operate their own businesses. Serving as their go- to advisor on any financial matter, Tara helps her clients create and implement highly customized, comprehensive wealth management plans based on their specific needs and goals. These plans begin with precisely tailored investment strategies, but may also cover anything from wealth transfer to retirement planning, philanthropy, business success issues, and more.
Tara earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM designation from Northwestern University and is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst. In 2012, she was named to the Morgan Stanley Pacesetter’s Club, a global recognition program for Financial Advisors who demonstrate the highest professional standards and first-class client service within their first five years.
After graduating from the University of Colorado with a BA in economics, Tara joined Betzold Research & Trading, an institutional bond trading firm. She left Betzold to take a National Sales Manager position at a global gourmet food distribution company and then returned to the financial services industry when she joined Morgan Stanley in 2009. She merged her solo practice with Windsor Private Wealth in 2016.
Tara is a volunteer and supporter of Paws for a Cause, a national organization that supports no-kill animal rescue centers. A native of the Chicagoland area, she lives in the River North neighborhood of downtown Chicago.
